Ararat Southern Cross Motor Inn is located in Ararat, 40 km from Halls Gap. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Wonderful little motel with only a few rooms, parking directly infront of your room. Very near to Ararat train station. Very central. The lady that runs it is absolutely lovely and welcoming.

Hamilton Lonsdale Motel offers air-conditioned accommodation with modern furnishings, free WiFi and a flat-screen cable TV. Hamilton bus and train terminal is 900 metres away. The bathroom was completely updated and they provided plates, bowls etc and flatware in case I either brought food or had take away. Location is great to explore the old part of town on foot.

Featuring included breakfast, a spa bath and a fireplace, each of the Marwood Villas offers a relaxing escape. Loved the log fire. Totally didn’t see it on the booking. It was so nice when some wintery weather came through. They also turned on the heater for our arrival which was lovely. Having breakfast with a view of the forest, birds and kangaroos was lovely. Was lucky enough to see a young one that had the case of the zoomies. Super easy key collection. No needing to go to an office. Got a text about the key and the code. Was super helpful. The location is awesome.

Each of these chalets features timber ceilings, a modern kitchen, polished wooden floors and a spacious living area that leads out to a wide veranda, where you can watch kangaroos and deer wander... Huge cabin met lots of facilities. Very clean and comfortable. We upgraded to a deluxe chalet at check in, which was totally worth it as you have unobstructed views of the pond and grasslands behind the hotel, which are teeming with wildlife.
