We had an unforgettable stay here!! We will definitely come again!! The whole house is full of vintage vibe, the room is so clean and comfy. We are impressed by the common areas such as the balcony, dining area and living room, everything was so organised. The free breakfast was great, with a lot of different choices of muesli and drinks! Free parking and no reservation needed!

Waratah on York is located in a restored Victorian mansion, just 5 minutes’ walk from Launceston city centre. It features free off-street parking and Wi-Fi internet access. The building is beautiful and the room was lovely. There was a water jug available, and even some mint Mentos — which really helped during our long drive! It’s the little touches like these that show how thoughtful and welcoming this place is. It’s become one of my favorites, and I’d love to stay here again next time I visit Launceston.

Excellent facilities and very spacious with beautiful views. We even spotted a Pademelon hopping about in the morning! Excellent variety in breakfast choices.

Our host gave clear instructions on how to get the keys and to access the parking spot. Location was great, very central. Secure parking was a bonus. Everything that we could need was supplied along with some much appreciated treats. Beds very comfortable as was the lounge area. Very spacious apartment with terrific views, and very quiet, definitely exceeded my expectations. Would love to return when next in Launceston.

Comfortable, well equipped ,quiet. A sparkling new unit easily accessible with parking outside, nicely furnished and decorated . Had everything we needed for a great stay including a washer and dryer. In a residential area high on the hill above the river. Also a nice little outdoor area with seating.
