From the moment we made the booking, Shane kept in touch and even checked in after our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. When we walked through the door, we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome gift from the host, which immediately made us feel at home. The property offers not only a private living space but also spacious indoor and outdoor areas to relax and explore. There’s even a walking track nearby where you can visit the farm animals. We were lucky to meet the farm owner — such a friendly person! He chatted with us, introduced each animal, shared stories about this quiet and beautiful place, and even gave us great local tips. Our child had an amazing time feeding the chickens, donkeys, and cows, exploring the trails, spotting kangaroos, and searching for wombats. We actually ended up canceling our winery plans because staying here was just too comfortable and enjoyable. A truly special and heartwarming stay — highly recommended!

Peter is a great host and communicates in great length and swiftly. Breakfast hamper was fantastic for our needs. It is a pretty barn house with main central area comprises of big kitchen, living, dining and TV area and with One queen bed in one of the corner. The upstairs has master bedroom with Bath tub. Separate bathroom with toilet and shower. Kitchen has everything one can think of like dishwasher , fridge and crockery. Peter arranged an extra mattress which was very handy. He also arranged firewood, lighters etc but we did get a chance to use it. Backyard is of reasonable size and plenty of seating available with firepit. It's on the dandenong tourist road at the top of the north end of Dandenong ranges. Close to all the attractions on offer. Highly recommended.
