From the moment I arrived, the staff were very accommodating and were available on WhatsApp for any questions or requests I might have. The Arctic Studio is so aesthetically decorated and I love how the room had its own sauna.

The location of this property was great. It was close enough to drive to all the places we planned but also felt like we were far enough away to have such a great winter vibe. the main road driving in had several igloo cabins which leds me to believe that its a good location to view auroras, unfortunately we went and had snow and clouds everyday so we did not have a chance to see an. The apartment was clean, had plenty of supplies on hand in the front cabin and tons of room for my family. The entry had plenty of racks, storage and a drying unit to help aid in the transition from outside to inside. our snow gear was always ready and warm for the next outing. The log cabin aesthetic inside and out added such a cozy yet elevated touch to our trip. it was warm, had a fully equipped fire place, and sauna. The tall ceilings in the living space made it feel bigger. they kids loved the loft and nook with window and like looking outside. The kitchen was stocked with all essentials and we loved that the apartment was decorated with a christmas tree during the holidays. Check in was at the local pub which I thought was different, but honestly it was perfect because we were able to grab the keys and some supplies from the local store nearby and head over right at check in.

The cabin is very nice, I got the chance to see the Aurora from the cabin glass, it’s amazing. Food in the restaurant is excellent, I did not expect to have food like this in Europe, unforgettable, the food is the best, they even have oat milk and lactose free milk and vegan yogurt, that gave me big surprise. Room is nice and clean, staff are all very helpful and friendly, they assist with all my excursions and transportation arrangement. They stayed late to help me check in and even prepared take away dinner for me. Hiking in the resort is also very very nice, beautiful view.

The property has a private beach area. Ski and snowmobile trails can be found nearby. The nearest airport is Ivalo Airport, 38 km from the property. Jaana and Mika made our stay so enjoyable. The cabins are lovely, the perfect distance out of town to relax in between all of the fantastic activities our hosts helped us book. Easy access into Saariselka, great cooking facilities in the cabin and an authentic Finnish experience. Jaana booked our activities for us which was so easy. All transfers were included as well as the thicker winter suits and boots that kept us warm and dry. If the weather wasn’t in our favour, it was no problem when the activity needed to be rescheduled. Jaana had it all sorted for us in a flash. Very sad to leave this gorgeous place.
