Everything, there’s not one bad point about this property, from the hosting (which is outstanding) from Arnaud, Claire and Claire’s mother to the horses, goats, chickens and dogs, the swimming pool, the grounds the bedroom and dinner, a perfect little getaway with the marina within walking distance, I definitely shall be returning

This place was an amazing find, a little gem and we can’t recommend it enough. The hosts Claire & Arnaud were amazing nothing was to much trouble, the bedroom was spacious as the bathroom, location was a little difficult to find but the village was delightful with a superb sailing port a short walk away to visit. The icing on the cake was the Table d Horte dinner, prepared by Claire to Michelin star standard , what a meal … this is a must, breakfast was good too. We wish the owners every success and will certainly return 5*

Vanessa was an excellent hostess. She made us feel very welcome and the atmosphere at her place is personal, relaxed and comfortable. Her husband is a great chef and the food was just right - not over elaborate and overpriced as is so often the case in France but good home cooking at a good price. The pig, dogs and chickens make the place feel homely and it’s obviously a popular place for locals to come and eat.

Beautiful period property with interesting history, an oasis of tranquility in the midst of the hustle and bustle of La Rochelle. Jean Fossati, front of house staff was exceptional, he was always polite, attentive and extremely helpful, he made the hotel feel five star. Superb breakfast quality and selection.

Very friendly people got a evening meal which was superb the proprietor is a trained chef and included an excellent breakfast Also near to motorway, hope to stay again

The room was cozy and had everything we needed in a great walkable location. The owner, also the chef of the fabulous onsite restaurant -Michelin star in the making. We enjoyed an amazing meal with a lovely bottle of wine all for 100 EU.
