The place had a cozy, stylish, and modern vibe—something between a hotel and an apartment, with a unique two-floor room layout that made it feel extra special. The location was excellent, within walking distance to shops, sightseeing spots, and everything you’d want to explore. The staff were incredibly kind and responsive, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. There were lots of fun and thoughtful extras, like an acoustic guitar, a vinyl player with a Bluetooth speaker, and even a “shower beer” compartment (for an extra charge). We also really enjoyed the beer keg in the room—£40 well spent! The breakfast was rich and delicious, and overall the stay felt like great value for money. Little touches made it even more memorable, like playing rock-paper-scissors with the bartender to win a dessert, and getting a beer token for reusing towels to help save the environment. Loved it!

Situated in Penicuik, The Craigie Hotel has a restaurant, bar, garden, and free WiFi throughout the property. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Location is close to Edinburgh. Food was incredible and the staff were very professional and friendly. Comfy bed, awesome shower. And the garden area had the football games on a giant LCD screen. Great place.
