Our stay at The Comfort was truly special thanks to the wonderful hosts, Kushana and Purnima. Kushana went out of his way to make us feel at home — picking us up from the railway station, dropping us off at the bus station when we left, and even taking us to visit several tourist spots around Kandy. He stayed in touch with us even after we left, which shows just how much he cares about his guests. Purnima is an incredible cook — she prepared delicious breakfasts and one of the best dinners we had during our entire trip to Sri Lanka. We will truly miss both of them, and of course their adorable dog, Bella! Thank you so much for everything.#coupleexploration

This hotel was a lovely surprise, beautiful, incredible staff, the best food! Especially the breakfast. It's 30 min away from Kandy but the peace, the nature, it's very much appreciated. Surrounded by pristine landscapes, the property is immaculately maintained, with stunning gardens, flowering plants, and breathtaking mountain views in every direction. The air is fresh, the atmosphere peaceful—it’s the perfect escape from the busy world. One of the standout features of the resort is the infinity pool, offering a surreal experience as you swim above the forest canopy with panoramic views of the misty hills stretching endlessly beyond. I found myself returning to this spot every morning and evening—each moment more magical than the last. As part of their offering, the hotel provides a free guided tour around the surrounding area, which is a must. Walking through the tea gardens and forest paths, discovering the local flora and fauna, and soaking in the serene beauty of nature made me fall even more in love with this place. The restaurant deserves a five-star rating of its own. The food was consistently outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
