We stayed for 7 nights with all meals included. Food, friendly and helpful staff Many thanks to Shaheen, Fairuz, the chef, Abdullah and Ahmed for their kindness. Shaheen, the manager, was very helpful in giving us tips for exploring the island. Fairuz also helped us to discover the Maldivian culture, to talk about football and other rich and constructive conversations. The food was very delicious thanks to the chef and Fairuz. The room is clean, the bathroom is large and clean.

A very unique experience to say the least - first the organising of the Seaplanes was amazing and well co-ordinated Expensive but most certainly worth the money. Greetings from the staff and explanation from the staff was informative and concise. Activities on the island were super easy to book and use (things such as; snorkelling gear, dolphin trips, kayaking, spas/massages, along with lunch or dinner at any of the restaurants) There were 2 very local souvenir shops. The complimentary photoshoot was also a very memorable experience. There is a pool on one side of the island and it is awesome to have (just because sometimes you don't want to jump into seawater) Nothing about the room itself, but the fact this is an island means it has many fishes swimming around - we were ecstatic to see a coral reef shark and to be able to swim near so many different types of colourful and beautiful fishes, honestly an unforgettable experience Our room cleaning was looked after by Easa - a very polite man and thorough with his cleaning. The room was cleaned twice a day and there were a couple times when my wife and I was in the room and he asked us if it was okay to clean now or come back later. No shortcuts, bed was made, floor was swept, towels and other amenities replenished. A+ service!

Our stay at Chillax Thoddoo was excellent. The owner of the guesthouse, Musa, arranged for us to be transferred from Male to the island and to the guesthouse. We were greeted with coconut drinks. The guesthouse is very cozy, the room was cleaned every day, there was hot water, and the food was simple but nutritious and delicious. We would like to express our gratitude to Musa and his staff for their assistance and advice, as well as for organizing our birthday party in the room. We were very pleased and will definitely return.

Each room is fitted with a balcony with views of the city. Staff is the best ever! Amazing people, with whom we shared 11 fantastic days! We became friends with Isha (Ikko), Liv, grandma, Siro, Ali, Nade and pretty much everyone else - cooks, cleaning staff etc. (apologies for mistyping or forgetting to mention your names :)). They helped us so much and made our stay a dream come true! During our stay thanks to the excursions Perla organized for us we saw and swam multiple times with whale sharks, mantas, turtles, pods of dolphins, sting rays and also swam with nurse sharks and went to a beautiful shipwreck for snorkelling. On top of that they sent us amazing go pro footage from the excursions for free! We saw local traditions and sampled exotic food during a local festival and it all felt like being part of one big family. We went for a day to a fancy resort nearby but honestly, we would recommend Perla over any modern resort as in Perla Dhangethi you have everything you need on an exotic local island for the fraction of the price one would have to pay at a resort and as a bonus you meet so many cool people from around the world! We will definitely come back soon!

Everyone was amazing, kind and helpful, from the housekeeping to the manager, chef and the waiting staff! The beach and the restaurant are the stars of the resort in my honest opinion. If you are in for a quiet vacation, this is an unexpected gem! We enjoyed every second of it!

The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of variety. The island itself is small but very charming and cozy, offering a perfect escape. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to help. We also loved the abundant coral reefs and vibrant fish – a true paradise for snorkeling and marine life lovers. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with great food and beautiful nature, this hotel is definitely worth considering!
