I was nervous about the small size of the room before we arrived, but one we saw how it was designed and organized, we found it to be perfect for our needs. Property was clean, staff was friendly and welcoming, breakfast was good and at a breathtaking location.

Personal touch from the hotel host Miguel, provided itineraries and suggestions on where to go, what to do (factoring weather) and where to eat. The rooftop bar was quite cool. Good location. Apartment was very large and had SMEG equipment, very nice touch.

Excellent location, very convenient to visit many Funchal attractions. The staff is professional and welcoming. The hotel is spotless, our room was cleaned daily and it was really very clean. Nice spacious accommodation and beautiful view from the balcony. Breakfast was very tasty, a lot of choices are available, everything is fresh and constantly refilled. We were fully satisfied with our stay.

Set on Madeira’s South Coast, Ponta do Sol has a stunning infinity pool and hot tub with panoramic views. The location is amazing, great view on the sea from the room, the terrace and the restaurant. Very quiet area and comfortable room. Very good breakfast and restaurant. Nice crew.

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. It offers 3 swimming pools, 3 restaurants, a Spa and a sun deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the gardens. We liked our stay so much that we came back to stay again. The hotel has a beautiful ocean view, clean and comfortable rooms, good food, nice inside and outside pool, spa and sauna facilities.
