Everything. It’s the most peaceful and beautiful place ever - only wish we could have stayed longer. The bed was SO comfortable - as were the sun loungers. We had complimentary wine tasting there which was really interesting and delicious. The staff also left us complimentary wine and arranged a lovely gift for us as it was our honeymoon - lovely touch. We would love to come back one day!

The hotel has a marvelous atmosphere of a manor house, complete with wood-burning fireplaces in the lounge and breakfast room. Our excellent host, Lindon, was friendly, professional and attentive to every request, making us feel welcome throughout our three-day visit. The rooms were newly renovated, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and very fresh. The location was perfect, with a 10-minute walk to town or a nature walk along the small Mill Creek which runs behind the hotel. It’s also a short distance to Franschhoek, to enjoy the wine tram and fly fishing. We would definitely stay here for a future visit.

This is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful properties in Franschhoek! The interiors are stunning, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the attention to detail is exceptional. I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday here, and the host, JP and the team, went above and beyond to make it special. The location is perfect, with everything from restaurants and grocery stores to the Franschhoek Wine Tram just a stone’s throw away. Highly recommend and will definitely return whenever I visit Franschhoek again!

Everyone was absolutely lovely, friendly, funny, and had a heart of service and a spirit of excellence. Accommodations were wonderful.
