Surfer's Corner Penthouse was warm, comfortable and well-appointed with delightful views of the ocean, the beach and the neighboring hillside. We visited Kirstenbosch gardens, hiked a waterfall trail, discovered Bo' Kaap and District 6 museums, tasted wine at Groot Constantia, marveled at West Coast National Park flowers and wildlife, rode the cable car up Table Mountain, and thoroughly enjoyed the Two Oceans Aquarium. Lunch at the Foodbarn in nearby Noordhoek was the highlight of our culinary adventures. Who knew South Africans were such foodies! I recommend the Karoo lamb and oysters on the half shell. Parking was safe underground, and security tight with biometrics. We enjoyed the gas heater, and electric space heaters, as it was chilly the week we spent on the beach. It was fun watching all the surfers enjoy the waves!
