We were issued with a parking pickup ticket on our arrival at the hotel ,our son who arranged pickup is a register disabled person and his badge was displayed.i

It was amazing, our hosts were fantastic which contributed to a very comfortable stay

We stay at Preston Marriott on a regular basis. My husband has Parkinson's and struggles sometimes with his walking and balance. The staff, especially the reception team Paul and the lady who checked us in on arrival were outstanding., so caring and helpful. They couldn't do enough for us. The bar staff also deserve a mention. Outstanding thankyou.

Friendly staff. £10.99 all in breakfast good value. Easy to park - must register car registration at reception. Quiet at night - no motorway noise. Good to be able to book sole use of small gym. Spotlessly clean room.

Location and Marriott standard

There are very few hotels you can describe as iconic and the Midland is definitely one of them, the design both inside and out is from another age and one we both love. It was a dream to stay there the only drawback was that our stay was so short.

We stayed at the Lancaster House Hotel to attend the open day at the University of Lancaster. We liked more or less everything about this hotel, especially the proximity to the university's campus. It is also conveniently located near a bus stop and has plenty of parking available. We loved the room we were staying in with plenty of space and comfortable beds. Live piano music contributed to a nice ambiance at dinner time. We would be happy to return to this hotel again.

Really nice property with friendly, helpful staff. Food very nicely cooked (we had breakfast & ate in the restaurant twice). On the Friday we had the bonus of watching the Neil Diamond tribute act which was great fun.

The decor and furnishings appeared recent and well-maintained. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom in particular, was very nice - with a heated/illuminated (steam free) main mirror (so few hotels get this right). Lovely shower. Bar & Dining areas were modern, cosy & inviting. Staff very helpful and appeared cheery enough. Fantastic cooked breakfasts.
