Great comfortable room with everything we needed, clean, comfortable bed. Restaurant on site (we didn't use but it looked good). Short walk into centre of Mt Gambier, easy access to attractions such as Blue Lake.

Refurbished in 2019 and located just 4 minutes’ drive from Blue Lake, Southgate Motel features a bar, a restaurant and a sauna. There is an outdoor swimming pool and a spa pool open in warmer months.

The room was spacious with a pleasant aroma. There was ample parking available, and the central location was convenient. I'll definitely choose to stay at this motel again. The reception staff, whether owners or managers, are very welcoming and helpful.
