We stayed in apartment 7. It was very spacious and well appointed. Decorations tastefully done and kitchen was well equipped with good quality utensils, crockery and pots. The bathroom and shower are very modern and spacious as well. It also has a comfortable couch outside with blanket so one can enjoy relaxing in the morning sun. It is a motel so is on a "main" road, but we heard no traffic noise at night. Owners very helpful and attentive. A short walk to the Paper Museum and the Sand Castle and Sculpture exhibit is also within walking distance, but if you want to go to the beach or main town, you at least need a bicycle. Blokhus Bageri is highly recommended for lovely breads, pastries and coffee. Be prepared to queue at popular times :). Løkken Strand is also worth a visit for the exposed German bunkers.

Situated in central Skagen, this motel offers free parking and rooms with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. Skagen Train Station is a 15-minute walk away. Great location and scrumptious breakfast!

Set in Hirtshals, 1.2 km from Tornby Beach, Strandlyst Rooms, Self Service, Tornby Strand Hirtshals offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This turned out to be just what we needed: a very simple accommodations, very inexpensive, with no complications. There were no staff, it was all self service: however, that turned out not to be an issue. It’s not in the center of anything in here so, but it’s not a difficult drive anywhere of value.

This simple motel, 2 minutes’ drive off the E45 Motorway, is 12 km from central Aalborg. It offers free Wi-Fi, an à la carte restaurant with bar, as well as rooms with a private entrance. Our GPS could not find the proper location, but the location was ideal not far from the motorway :-)
