The dinner was amazing - there was a station where the staff prepares a small dish on the spot for you. The onsen was eye-opening to say the least. It is located beside a stream / forest, and it was refreshing to soak in the onsen while listening to the stream flow by.

Beautiful location and wonderful hosts. If you stay extra then great to have the home prepared meal which was amazing. Hosts were always ready to help and support.

We felt like home in this resort especially the natural onsen. The surrounding nature/mountain is lovely. Breakfast and dinner sets are delicious and fulfilled.

Everything about the stay and accomodation is great! Staff were well trained, polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and they provide free shuttle service to the ski resort. There is even a facilities for kids playroom and table tennis for free. Breakfast and dinner provided were of great quality and delicious. Definitely recommended for stay here!

Dormy Inn Akita is located opposite historical Senshu Park and is a 5-minute walk. from JR Akita Station is 8-minute walk. Free internet access and a public bath are provided. Best hotel in Japan! There is outdoor onsen with beautiful landscape. The free ramen is delicious but it only available from 9.30-11.30pm. Some other freebies. Walking distance from Akita station and Senshu Park.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location right across the street from the lake. All rooms have lake views, and the private onsen does as well. Sunsets from the private onsen, sunrises from our room - pure bliss. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. This is one of the places we will return to again!
