Our stay exceeded our expectations, which were already high based on photos and reviews of the hotel. The staff gave us a wonderful welcome and provided all useful information we could need (in English) and were so helpful in arranging transfers to and from the ferry port. The facility is gorgeous and it is clear that a lot of thought went into the details, from the amenities to the decor and also in the guest experience. The onsens were also beautifully done and very relaxing. The food was excellent and most of it locally sourced. The Japanese breakfast was exceptional and we also had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant one night. Lastly, the staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had a very lovely stay and would stay again!

I arrived earlier at the property on 5 January before check-in and staff arranged for my luggage to be moved into my room when I came back after exploring. Dinner was good and subsequently during check out i left my luggage at the counter to explore the town more before my train. When I came back and wanted to leave, staff provided me with a lift to the train station. It was raining at that time and the lift was appreciated despite the train station being quite close by. Excellent services by the staff here and I greatly appreciate it. Definite recommend.

Hagi No Yado Tomoe está muy bien situado en el barrio de Hagi Onsen-kyo, Hagi, a 12 min a pie de Playa de Kikugahama, a 1,8 km de Shokasonjuku Academy y a 1,8 km de Shoin Shrine. A very nice place in an interesting town, quiet and pleasant. The breakfast and dinner are excellent and the onsen is very relaxing.. We recommend it!!

SOIL Nagatoyumoto está muy bien situado en el barrio de Nagato-Yumoto Onsen, Nagato, a 37 km de Kuruson-zan Shuzen-ji Temple, a 41 km de Doigahama Site Anthropological Museum y a 41 km de Ejio Park. The hotel is right along the river walk, next door to the town's onsen, "Onto," and the restaurant serves all 3 meals in the lobby with great quality. The staff was super friendly and spoke relatively good English for the remote location in the Japanese countryside.
