Parking lot was plenty. The hostess let us check-in early even though we arrived relatively early. The rooms were traditional style with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

More then 500 years onsen was first esperience in my life also we enjoyed first time private onsen with my husband .We had breakfast and diner served in room and it was unforgettable , especially egg cooked in onsen! Amazing place, from pick up at the station until we left / everything was perfect! All the staff were exemplary, catering to all our needs. The dinner was worthy of Michelin imo, grande course with so many options. The breakfast too and it snowed so everything was beautiful, the views 😍 We had private onsen room and the room was huge, steeped in tradition and the onsen was lushhhh especially when you open the door the combo of heat and cold! will be back again, recommended!

The hotel offers pyjamas and Yukatas for guests. The breakfast was so tasty and the service was incredible! The Onsen is private and available from 3pm to 9am. Overall we loved our experience and would come back anytime.

All of my expectations were blown away. This hotspring ryokan is absolutely beautiful, my room is clean, spacious and has great vibe of Japanese culture. The property has 3 different hotspring baths, including a private bath and an outdoor bath which allow you to enjoy the hot springs anyway you want. Both dinner and breakfast are included, the dinner is especially luxurious with a traditional Kaiseki course meal served with fresh seasonal ingredients. This place is also very convenient to access as it is close to the bus station. Overall, the experience was absolutely amazing, I highly recommend anyone to give it a try.

Houshi Onsen Chojukan ligt aan de rivier Houshi, en biedt een openbare warmwaterbron, accommodatie in Japanse stijl, gratis WiFi en een Japanse keuken. The onsen is amazing, they all have a great atmosphere and they have a mixed one. Great dinner and breakfast too!
