Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. Everything. It was everything I was expecting to find in a Japanese style hotel. The staff was adorable, everything was perfect.

La habitación fue super confortable, la ubicación perfecta con la parada del Sightseeing Bus justo en la puerta, que te deja en la estación de tren y en todos los otros puntos de interés en Kawaguchiko, aunque el hotel ofrece un shuttle gratis a la estación tanto para el check in como para el check out. El Hotel Asafuji ofrece habitaciones de estilo japonés con aire acondicionado y set de té verde, así como vistas al monte Fuji y al lago Kawaguchi desde todas sus habitaciones y baños termales. Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. The hotel was amazing! We took the room with a view to Mt. Fuji and it was just magical. The staff was very nice and helpful, room was clean. We also booked a private onsen and it was really good.

A Truly Special Traditional Ryokan Experience at Fuji Onsenji Yumedono We stayed at Fuji Onsenji Yumedono, a beautiful traditional Japanese ryokan located near Lake Kawaguchiko, and it was a truly special experience. We booked two rooms — one was a newer, modern villa-style suite in a separate area, which was absolutely lovely. The other room, for three adults, was located in the main building and was more traditional and a bit older in style. Each room includes a private onsen, which was a real highlight. Soaking in the hot spring bath after a long day of exploring was incredibly relaxing and luxurious. The main building has a cozy lounge with complimentary hot and cold drinks, available throughout the day — a very nice touch. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, offering some of the best service we encountered in Japan. Breakfast was served in a traditional Japanese-style dining room. Since we don’t eat fish, the staff kindly arranged a Western-style breakfast for us the next morning without any issue. Overall, this was a unique and memorable experience, blending warm hospitality, traditional charm, and modern comfort. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful and authentic stay near Mount Fuji.

Beautiful view of Mt Fuji from the comfort of your own personal sauna. Great location for kids with a small yard, perfect for running around after being enclosed in a small Tokyo hotel room for a week. Gas grill was a huge bonus. Staying here was a highlight of our family trip.

A quiet and serene stay far away from the hustle and bustle. The view of mount fuji from the property was perfect. Rooms were all facing mount fuji and clean. Buffet dinner and breakfast were good with wide variety. There were some night time activities for guest like origami and simple games like uno and jenga could be borrowed. I could not ask for more and would love to visit again.
