Mariam was the star of this stay. A wonderful host that shared so much precious insight on Armenian culture, history and traditions. We chatted forever! The property is secluded and quiet which is exactly what we needed. There are a couple of rough patches driving up and the last few meters before the property is a dirt road but don’t let anyone scare you because it’s very easy to reach even with a very low clearance car as our rental. The food prepared for us for both dinner and breakfast was simply amazing. Tasty and earthy and home grown. Too bad we stayed only one night.

Gnishik is literally right at the end of the road, you can go no further, but the Eco Lodge certainly makes the journey worthwhile. The gent who let us in and gave us the keys was very pleasant and helpful and communication before arrival was excellent. It was made clear that the location was remote and that we would have to bring our food and drink with us. This was fine and the shared kitchen was very well equipped. We had a lovely en suite room upstairs with wonderful views from our balcony, especially of the beautiful rose garden in the back garden. We were also lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. There was a problem with the WiFi in the early evening, but it was quickly resolved and worked very well for us after that; not good enough to stream, but perfectly well for browsing, emails, etc. We parked in the drive in front of the Lodge, but there are zero security concerns. If you get the chance to visit, then we strongly suggest that you do. The drive south from Lake Sevan is truly spectacular. The last few kilometres of road were pot holed and slow going, but perfectly accessible if you drive slowly. Overall, this is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and relax and we loved our visit. Very highly recommended.

Don’t hesitate to book a room in Liviti, it is the perfect place to be. The landscape is fantastic, the room is very comfortable and beautiful with air conditioning. The owner and her family are the nicest and most helpful hosts we have ever met. The breakfast is gorgeous and the owner can also prepare an extraordinary dinner for you. She can book a taxi for you and a bus as well if needed. What a fantastic BnB!

Beautiful view from the window. Rooms were super clean and renovated. The family was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, harvested in the garden near the vinery. Both breakfast and dinner were the best meals we had in Armenia, so full of flavour. Do not miss it!

I absolutely loved this property. It was very cheap for a last minute Booking when all properties in the area were either unavailable or out of budget. It’s a great base to explore Jermuk and Tatev as well as Areni. The room was super clean, comfortable bed, great AC in these very hot July days and very bright with 3 windows Super convenient access to food court and supermarket and parking right in front of entrance door. Although it is located on the main road full of trucks and cars I didn’t hear a single thing at night Although we had very limited interactions all the staff are very kind and welcoming

A great place, with a very accommodating host. Everything (and everyone) was really nice but the standout for us was the food. It was exceptional. Really really good. We also did wine & brandy tasting and it was really pleasant. Overall, one of our best B&B experiences. Highly recommended.

Very cute couple which is happy to host and get to know their guests. We had funny conversations with the help of a translator app and tried some homemade liquor. Gohar's husband drove us to the starting point of our hike which was very convenient.
