Great walking trails are also available directly from the accommodation (no need to pack the car!). An easy picturesque drive from Cairns and a world away from the hustle and bustle.

Amazing luxurious tiny house in the rainforest with views of the forest from the bed. Waking up with different bush animals, seeing the platypus in the morning! Very friendly ghost. We strongly recommend this place when you visit the Tablelands.

We had a fantastic stay at Sharlynn by the River as a group of 3 friends. This property definitely exceeded our expectations. Thanks to John and Pam for being very accommodating, we really enjoyed the morning coffee and breakfast. The cabin is very comfortable and the decking around it is beautiful. Sadly, did not see any tree kangaroos, we loved out stay by the river. A great base to explore the Atherton tablelands and chill out.
