We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for both comfort and a perfect location. The property is situated right next to the entrance of the Zhangjiajie park, which makes exploring incredibly convenient. At the same time, it is tucked away in a quiet, scenic area surrounded by breathtaking mountains. It feels like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of the city — peaceful, relaxing, and immersed in nature. Breakfasts deserve a special mention. They are not only delicious but also very generous in size — honestly, I could easily split them into two meals. Everything was fresh and nicely presented, which made mornings an absolute pleasure. The staff is another highlight of this hotel. Everyone we met was polite, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. And I have to give a HUGE thank you to Winnie. She was our hero during the entire trip — patiently answering all our endless questions, helping us plan routes, and even staying available 24/7 when we needed advice. She even provided us with beautifully designed maps that were so clear and detailed, other travelers asked us where we had gotten them. With Winnie’s support, we never felt lost or uncomfortable for even a moment. The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. After a long day of exploring, it was a joy to return to such a calm and well-kept space. I also appreciated the little touches — from thoughtful amenities to the warm hospitality that made the hotel feel more personal than many larger, chain properties. If you’re looking for a place that combines excellent service, stunning surroundings, and true relaxation, this hotel is the perfect choice. I left with only the best impressions and would love to come back again.

I highly recommend staying here during your visit to Zhangjiajie. The lady working there helped us organize the entire trip to the national park — we had very little time — and assisted us with purchasing tickets, for which we are extremely grateful. The property is located in a beautiful area surrounded by nature, where you can truly feel the jungle atmosphere. We had constant contact with the staff both before our arrival and during our stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this place

The hotel is absolutely stunning. It’s right near the West Gate into Zhangjiajie National Park. Tiffany was absolutely amazing! She helpfully provided us with all the info we need, giving us tips and maps and booking our tickets for us. She drove us to the park entrance on the golf cart and in to town for dinner or to buy snacks. All the staff went out of their way to make our stay special! We absolutely loved it and can’t recommend it enough!!

This is a highly highly recommended Lodge located in a genuine quiet village. The beds are extremely comfortable; the home-made breakfasts and dinners were delicious. The lodge is very close to the west gate of the National Park. The mid-night corks' crows reminded you of the country-side life style. However, what makes the place so charming and impressive is the people. The Lodge owner Lucas and his partner Xiao Xie and their entire family, made our trip a wonderful experience. They provided very informative/detailed travel guidance as well as pick-up/drop-off services which made our daily excursions extremely convenient and pleasant. They welcomed us at the front yard at the time we come back which made us feel like returning home. They become part of the unforgettable memories of our cherished family gathering at Zhangjiajie!

Wah, the location is super convenient, just walk to the forest park. The staff are really friendly, help us book tickets and plan route, no need to worry about anything. The pool is shiok after a whole day of walking, and the room very clean and comfy with nice view. Breakfast also not bad, got local options. Highly recommend for those who want a hassle-free trip. Definitely worth it!

Review for Hua Ting Guesthouse Title: The Perfect Base for Our Avatar Adventure! Exceptional Hospitality! Our stay at Hua Ting Guesthouse was an unforgettable part of our Zhangjiajiaje experience. The main reason for our visit was to see the "Avatar Mountains," and this guesthouse proved to be the perfect choice. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the South Gate of the National Forest Park. This allowed us to get an early start to beat the crowds to the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area (where the "Hallelujah Mountain" pillar is). After a long day of hiking and being amazed by the floating peaks that inspired the world of Pandora, it was such a relief to know a comfortable and welcoming place was so close by. The highest praise, however, goes to the owner, Mrs. Wang. Her service was absolutely outstanding! She is not only incredibly warm and friendly but also highly professional. Upon our arrival, she sat down with us with a detailed map and gave us a brilliant itinerary to optimize our time. She explained exactly which buses to take, the best order to see the sights, and even the perfect timing to catch the sunset. Her advice saved us so much time and confusion. She made us feel like family, always asking about our day and offering us tea. Her hospitality truly made our trip seamless and much more enjoyable. The guesthouse itself is charming, very clean, and has a lovely, peaceful courtyard—a great place to relax in the evening. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained. If you are visiting Zhangjiajie for the Avatar mountains, look no further. You not only get great value and location but also the invaluable, kind guidance from Mrs. Wang. We cannot recommend Hua Ting Guesthouse highly enough! Thank you for making our trip so special!

The homestay is located in the forest park scenic area. The environment is super nice. There is a small courtyard and a swimming pool. There is also a small stream in front of the door where you can play in the water. The room was clean and comfortable. The landlady served us very warmly. The boss's dishes were delicious, especially the white-feathered black-bone chicken and cured meat at his place, which was particularly tasty. It was my favorite style. When we went to the mountains for a trip, we took the bus right at the door, which saved us a lot of time. It was a perfect travel experience. I'm very grateful to the landlady for providing us with the travel guide
