Booked very last minute but the host was so helpful and accommodating. it's located in a nice neighborhood and the building is very modern with secure parking for our motorcycle. This is behind a high gate and electric fence. The apartment is very clean and spacious. The shower is lovely and hot and high pressure, one of the best we've had in Ecuador. It was only an overnight stop for us but it was very restful. Only feedback would be the checkout time is early at 10am. Most our at least 11am. Also it's needs some thicker curtains in the bedrooms as the street lights remain on all night.

In the Cuenca Historic Centre district of Cuenca, close to Tomebamba River, Hostal Suite Le Fabrique has a garden and a washing machine.

Franco is a spectacular host! His kindness, attention to detail, excellent breakfast/cappuccinos, and helpfulness are rare. The property is so fabulous-rooms have every amenity you might need, and are beautiful. The two interior courtyards are relaxing and inviting to sit and read. In a way, it is hard to leave the property to see Cuenca! Very convenient and safe location.

Great place close to Historical Center, great price, communicative and pleasant staff, room cleaned daily, change of towels and the rest. We had the King Suite overlooking the street. Can be a bit noisy in the mornings, but that just means you have to get up and experience the city. The room is very big and tall and the bathroom small. Big comfy bed. 24h reception Overall a good experience.

The guesthouse was really beautiful and comfy. It was clean and tidy and it had hot water (something that is not to be taken for granted in Ecuador). The kitchen was super spacious and well equipped and the view from the balcony exceptional. The location was also really good, close to the city center and not far from the bus terminal. Also, the people that run the house were really friendly, polite and helpful. We actually changed a couple of hostels while in Cuenca cause they didn't meet our expectations (like hot water for example) and we found this one to be a perfect fit. Bella Vista is definitely a place to go back to if ever again in the city.

What an amazing place! The saddest part of our stay was leaving and only having the opportunity to stay for a single night, if time had allowed, we would have stayed a week! The location is perfect for the old historic centre, the cathedral is an easy walk, so much of the historic centre is walkable from here. The staff were so incredible!!! So kind and helpful, with great English and knowledge to share. Nothing was too much trouble, from extra coffee, so booking taxis and restaurants. The breakfast was one of the best meals we've eaten in Ecuador (and we have eaten very well in this country! - but this was a REALLY great way to start our day!) The Tigrillo was a really fabulous Ecuadorian breakfast cooked and presented beautifully. This is such a beautiful property, very well maintained and full of gorgeous murals on the walls, the roof terrace boasts a stunning view of the city sky line and the garden is a wonderful place to enjoy the breakfast. If we get the chance to return to Cuenca, this is the place we will stay for sure, and the place I would recommend to any friends who plan this trip!
