Beautiful and peaceful place which has it all. Great interior design, with amazing views on a lake and surrounding nature. On top of that: a caring host.;) That's a perfect spot you can simply enjoy a dolce far niente or explore the region: Vitoria-Gasteiz, the vinyards of La Rioja etc. I truly recommend.

The Parador occupies one of Renaissance palaces in Argómaniz overlooking the Gorbea Mountains. It houses a popular restaurant, attractive interiors and offers Wi-Fi internet access.

We spent five nights in this hotel with our 4 year old. The staff are very friendly and the room was clean and modern. The eco-friendly ventilation system really works well. Every time we returned to the room the air was cool and pleasant. The breakfast is nice, one can also sit outside, and the hours (until 12) allow for lie-ins. The view from the rooftop is stunning.

Everything was perfect! The staff at the reception was super amicable and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located 2 min Walking from the train station and 5 mins from the old towns core.. But still very quiet in the night. A lot of restaurants around :) My room was superb, super comfortable bed and impeccable... I wish I could get the same standards in Germany/France where my company pays for 200euro expensive hotels (and German hotels always disappoint me).. The hotel is quite new, I think it opened a couple of months ago. You should definitely stay here!

Fantastic place to stay Karmele the host was amazing, she was so helpful with suggestions for places to eat, closed roads so we could get to the TdF. Karmele was just lovely. The breakfast were amazing. The house is clean modern, comfortable bed. Great shower. Bike storage. Would definitely recommend this place. We hope to go back one day too

I loved every minute at Mondragon Hotela. The entire hotel was recently renovated and it shows, with a clean and beautiful atmosphere. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. We needed to arrive a bit after 23h, we called explaining the situation, and they kindly waited for us. They even requested our IDs via email to start the check-in process, so we just had to get there and receive the room kees. Thank you Virginia for all your help!

Everything was well kept, very tidy and clean. The owner was great, very attentive and kind. We forgot a jacket and he kindly agreed to post it next day, we got it back just in time for our flight back home! It's a shame we didn't get to spend much time exploring around, we hope to go back soon!

The location is just 35 minutes from Bilbao in a lush setting near a lake/reservoir. There are lovely gardens. The accommodation is very new and fresh. Rober provides drinks, coffee and tea in the room. We didn't use the sauna as it was summer, but it is a nice touch for a chilly night.
