Amazing place, amazing location. Yurt is absolutely gorgeous, lovely decorated and very clean. Great experience with an open roof to look at the sky. Hosts are lovely and very helpful. Facilities are in different building but well maintained and very clean.

The Log House is beautiful and as advertised. The host welcomed and showed us around the property. He was very responsive before and throughout our stay. I requested the sauna to be ready for our arrival and it was. The apartment was stocked with some beverages and instant meals, which we were very grateful for. It seemed to be the perfect spot to see the northern lights— either from the jacuzzi on the deck or anywhere within the property. Unfortunately, the weather conditions were not in our favor that night. Overall, I think this is a wondeful getaway location not too far from the bustling city. Just note that the host lives in the house next door… yet, it’s all in a secluded area and very quiet. Know that this apartment is around 26 km from the city center and there are no amenities nearby. You can purchase some instant meals and other food items from the supermarket as there’s an electric kettle and fridge in the room. Since we didn’t have a vehicle, we relied on a taxi. The rides are not cheap in December, but I knew what to expect and don’t regret spending what I did. Honestly, two nights would have been ideal! If you have a vehicle, then it would be easier to move around. Thank you for hosting us and the gift —nailed it with my favorite chocolates. Cheers!

An amazing cottage nestled amidst the Lapish woods, offering a true gem for relaxation and witnessing the northern lights from the yard. Our group of four had an absolutely fantastic stay, though we recommend that you have a car for this cottage since it is a 40-minute' drive from Rovaniemi or other places you may wish to visit. The house itself is fully equipped and you have everything for a comfortable stay in the Arctic. The sauna, baby reindeers outside, and the surrounding views are a bonus. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year.

We stayed in cottage Puolukka and it was perfect. The cottage is very clean and it has everything you need. The sauna in the cottage was great. We had a rental car and the location was easily accessible. The location is beautiful!! We loved the area in the woods and near the lake. It made our holiday perfect. We did the snowmobile tour with the owner and it was 10/10: SUPER! One of the highlights of our Lapland experience. Same for the snowshoe tour, it was fantastic! I would recommend this accommodation and I would book it again when we visit the beautiful country again.

It was perfect... I wanted a cabin in the woods with a fire (inside the communal lounge and outside in the wilderness). It feels like a million miles from anywhere. Easy to find though, even when it's snowing and midnight. You will need a car, it's just so much freedom rather than paying for taxis. Plenty of easy parking. The cabin is snug but ideal, bed comfy. Made ourselves breakfast with the toaster and coffee/tea, nice dining table to eat and play games at. Beautiful setting. We didn't see the lights but we never do (2nd holiday we've tried :( ) but it would be a fabulous setting to see them. The lake was iced over which was so cool. We loved the sauna (€80 extra but very worth it) and ice 'swimming" (we managed about 3 seconds). amazing BBQ firepit where we roasted sausages we got from the supermarket. The setting is stunning, so incredible. Will remember our trip forever!
