The room was clean, comfortable and very well appointed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a very nice evening meal in the restaurant, a cut above the normal pub standard, followed by a a few beers in the bar. The breakfast was very good.

I went to Ramsbury for a family funeral. I never knew The Bell provided accommodation before, and its location was just perfect. The twin bedroom was nicely decorated, tidy and spotless. Although the restuarant is downstairs, one hardly heard any noise at all. The shower was strong and hot, the amenties were in order, the bed was very comfortable. I had a very good sleep. The continental breakfast was good.

Excellent find. Booked 1 night and extended another 2. If you are looking for a real 15th century pub with its wonky floors, walls and doors, but a bit of modern luxury, this is it. Great location, staff and rooms.

    The location is brilliant, in the High Street & convenient with parking (altho’ as the Festival was on parking was not available in the hotel car park but easily found on the High Street). The staff are friendly and prior to our stay we received a courtesy phone call to advise the festival was on, no car parking at the hotel & it would be noisy as they had loud live music until midnight. It was made clear we could cancel & the call was appreciated.
