The room was self-contained with beautiful views out the picture windows. The deck would be amazing in good weather but it rained our whole visit so we didn’t use it. Having a fridge was fantastic and everything you need was provided. There was even gluten free cereal in the cupboard! We didn’t leave the room from when we arrived at 5.30pm until we left the next day at 10am because we just loved sitting looking out the windows.

The room is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The host kindly provides complimentary juice, cake, and biscuits in addition to coffee pods for a Nespresso machine. She replenishes these everyday. The view is amazing overlooking Uig bay with the hills in the background. Just sitting there taking in the view is special. The breakfast is delicious and the portions are generous. There’s also a lot of variety in the menu. The hot-tub is exactly what you need after a day of hiking in Skye and is just behind the property and has a great view of the bay. This is my second time staying here. Highly recommended!

We traveled to Sky Island at the end of June, and it was very difficult to find suitable accommodation. We stayed here for 1 night although we wished we could have stayed for 2 nights. Margaret was a great host and told us about nearby tourist attractions. He prepared delicious pastries when we arrived and the breakfast was also very delicious. The room is small, very clean, and has everything you need. We are very satisfied with our stay. By the way, I encountered many situations during my trip to Scotland and received help from many people. Not only is the scenery here beautiful, the people here are kind. I used the address to navigate on Google Maps and was taken to the wrong place. The people there drove me for 2 or 3 miles and helped me find the right place.

This was a superbly comfortable well located, historic and beautiful place to stay. Booking in was easy, the location is just awesome and the unit had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. It is perfectly situated for the historic sites on Skye and has all the amenities you need for a great stay.

The photos of this place do not do it justice. It’s really nice, you can see a panoramic view of the ocean through the shared space. We had a window with ocean view from our room. Great value for the price!

It is a treasure among the hotels. This hotel is extremely clean, modernised and well equipped. If you want to escape from a city this is the place where you will find peace. There are no dog barking and no crowd around you. This was the best hotel among those we visited in Scotland.

It was in a great location, it was clean and comfortable. It was a little dated but that really didnt matter to us. The hosts had great communication, and it had everything we needed and we will most likely be booking this again next year.
