It was lovely and quiet which was great, having come from a busy city. Very comfortable, got a good night's sleep. Just a great place to relax. Owners very thoughtful as they had a xmas tree in the living room, which made it feel very festive.

Liz was incredibly nice. We arrived after a long day of travelling and immediately felt home. We got a room upgrade. Liz gave many recommendations of things to do in the area. There is an electric charging unit for an electric car.

The location was very relaxing and quiet. Such a pretty outlook. The lounge was a lovely place to quietly read and we enjoyed the books and magazines on offer. The staff were friendly and chatty. A wonderful experience and well worth the stopover. I would thoroughly recommend staying there. It was such a treat.

    Comfy bed, quiet location despite being on the main street. Off street parking. Fantastic vegetarian fry up. Mark was an excellent host and went out of his way to be helpful and friendly. Also a great raconteur!

    Car parking could be better, it's on street parking and time limited , though reception told us this wouldn't be a problem. The restaurant was fully occupied on the night we stayed so we were asked to eat in the bar which was chaos as the tables had no numbers and the waitresses didn't know where to take food to.

    Lovely hotel. Lots of free parking. Clean comfy room with a big bathroom. Good food lots of choice at breakfast. Friendly helpful staff who went the extra mile. We left our bank card in our room when we left but fortunately it was found by a member of staff who ran after us as we were just leaving the car park and returned it. So a big thank you for saving us the worry of having to cancel or look for it.
