I had an exceptional stay at Organic Village Retreat .From the warm Welcome to the impeccable service everything exceeded my expatiations. The property was quite pretty and the room and bathroom were large and spacious and clean. Upon arriving, they had mentioned to us that hot water was available only at specific times of the day and during those times we did get hot water without any issues. Because there are frequent power cuts across the valley and there is no electricity at night, they had provided us with a few plug points that were running on inverter and we could charge our phones using those points even when there was no electricity which was quite helpful. The room itself was ventilated such that we could open a window at night and a stand fan was also provided.

The Stone Herge Hotel in Hunder in the Nubra Valley is a wonderful place to relax. The staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help, making you feel special from the moment you arrive. The rooms are comfortable, clean and cosy, ensuring complete relaxation after a day spent in the mountains. The restaurant deserves special mention – the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The staff takes care of every detail, making every meal a real pleasure. The hotel and restaurant are located in the picturesque mountainous area of Hunder in the Nubra Valley, which means that a stay here is not only about comfort and tasty food, but also unforgettable views and a unique atmosphere. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for hospitality, comfort and natural beauty all in one.

I had an amazing stay at Zambala guest house thanks to the hosts. They were extremely welcoming and friendly. The property is in a great location. They will cook you breakfast and dinner which is very tasty. A special thanks to Nawang for an incredible stay. If you visit Diskit, stay at Zambala guest house!

I booked one room for 2 nights but wasn't able to arrive until the second night. I arrived on the second night with friends who also wanted to book a room there. Instead of charging for the second room, they gave it to us for free in lieu of the first nights accommodation (2 rooms for 1 night instead of 1 room for 2 nights). I was very surprised by their generosity as it was my fault that I couldn't arrive the first night. The food was also incredible. Excellent quality and the quantity was insane. It's even more impressive when considering the remotness of the hotel. By far the best accommodation I stayed at during my entire holiday throughout India and Nepal. The customer service couldn't have been better.

Words cannot explain how great our stay was! To give you short and sweet: book it book it! Staff is super friendly and communicative. Shabir helped us to plan our itinerary and gave us great recommendations for things to do in Nubra Valley and around. I want to add, it was our honeymoon and they set up our room with a cute decoration, gave us a bottle of Wine . Food at the hotel was amazing for both breakfast and dinner. The room itself was beautiful and amazing. It was private and gave you the feel of being in the forest by yourself. Location is perfect given you are about 10-20 minutes from most attractions and things to do. The Village tour they offer (free) is a must! I would definitely stay here again!
