Hotels with Parking in Grímsstaðir á Fjöllum

This accommodation was a positive surprise. The reception is 6 kilometres away from the accommodation and the road to it is terrible, so we had low expectations from the (totally deserted) road. However, the bungalow we stayed in was lovely, super cosy and warm and the view was beautiful! There's also an outside building where the kitchen works, with everything you need for breakfast or a small meal. The fact that the reception is far from the accommodation was no problem at all and this was one of the best accommodations we stayed in in Iceland! I highly recommend it!

If you follow an instruction of owner about location, then there is no problem to find. First you drive to Grimstunga for key (very easy to find on Google map) and that you continues for 7 km to your room. Room is spacious, bright and with terrasse. Kitchen has well equipment. Location is overall good, very close to ring road and close to Detifoss waterfall (east).
