We wanted something a little more remote to have a chance of seeing the Northern Lights and also beautiful scenery. This hotel/cottage covered both. The cottage was absolutely perfect, no matter what window you looked out it had perfect views. Was warm and comfortable and had everything in it we needed. The cottage was self catering however we went over to the bar/restaurant a few nights for some food and drinks.

This design hotel is located by the Whale Fjord, 50 km from central Reykjavík. It offers free Wi-Fi, outdoor hot tubs with fjord views and rooms with flat-screen TVs.

Accomodation was amazing. It's a very cosy and clean room. You can see the owners payed attention to the details. The owners were also very friendly. I would reccomend this place to everyone.

A peaceful cabin in the middle of a "wood", the host decorated with detail and so passionate that I can feel it. You have everything that you need. Certainly if I comeback to Iceland I will book this cabin. Only one caveat, make sure when you come still have daylight to find the cabin.
