We were upgraded to one of the brand new apartments and it was fantastic. The apartment had a spacious kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Everything was new and clean and the room was warm. The hostess was lovely and prepared a delicious dinner out of local products from the farm just for us. The farm is located in a beautiful area by the Lagarfljót lake with lots of trees and amazing nature all around. Bigger town Egilsstadir is only 15min away by car. Nelson the cat was always checking on us:) wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Absolutely amazing. The accommodation is beautiful, set next to the lake and mountains. Perfect views and magical sunset/sunrise. The dinner was one of the best I have ever had. Breakfast was also delicious. Truly a wonderful property and would highly highly recommend.

We used the hot tub and sauna, which was great after a long day of travel. And we saw beautiful northern lights at this location. Elsa was kind to show them to us as they started up, and informed the other guests next to us also. They were a spectacular show of northern lights, and one of the highlights of our trip. We also got to give the sheep a bottle. So cute!

Extremely clean guesthouse. Lovelly stuff. Very quiet environment. Having breakfast at that kind of place was such a bonus! They make their own bread which is just perfect, and everything else on the self-service table was delicious and exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend this place!
