One of the best Ryokan I've stayed at in Japan! Homely and traditional. The lady who runs the place is extremely helpful and an excellent cook. You'd usually pay three times as much for this kind of food. The location is excellent as a springboard to the wider Iya Vally. Book well in advance - this place is popular, and for good reason!

Meals were excellent, the onsen was very nice and relaxing. The hotel has everything one needs, and the atmosphere is very hospitable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The little town is tranquil and nice.

Very warm hospitality by Nakajima sisters. Lovely dog Ichigo. Very delicious meals. Neat and tidy traditional japanese home. My family enjoyed the stay very much. Required a compact car to access.

My stay here was excellent! The organization and preparation were top-notch, and the welcome upon arrival was warm. The stuff were very helpful and courteous from the start, truly wonderful.
