Lovely staff. Couldn't do enough to help. Fantastic food. Beautiful room with its own private onsen. Car parking outside. Easy walking distance (5 minutes) from the shrine & nightly Kagura performances. About a 20 minute walk to the Gorge & the row boat station. I like that even with the small space evrything seems enough. Perfect for 3 people. The location is near the bus stop which make it easier to commute. There is also a cafe & mart nearby.

The place is huge. Though there was only 8 of us, it could easily fit 12. Full kitchen with crockery and all utensils except there is no oven or grill, probably for safety reasons. Huge lounge and huge bedroom.

Charming location. Beautiful traditional Japanese house. We brought pot noodles as worried there would be nowhere to eat but didn't need to worry as helpful host gave us directions to an izikaya a couple of kilometres away. Good if you have a car but probably not ideal to walk at night as not much pavement or lighting. Wish we had a bit more time to enjoy setting.

Very cozy accommodation with everything you need. We really enjoyed the food and cocktails in the bar. I asked the barkeeper for a surprise cocktail creation and got one of the best cocktails I've ever had.
