The breakfasts were a rotation of four different menus. Multigrain bread, croissants, cereals, seasonal fruit, and juices were fresh each day and plentiful. It was enough to keep us going for the day. The location on the Mekong was stunning, with little refreshing breezes if we spent the afternoon. Mornings and evenings on the riverside were gorgeous. Best of all, staying on the property surrounded by the old Laotian homes was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It felt nostalgic and familiar, and unique at once. The homes were beautifully designed with ample modern bathrooms, too. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable about meeting our needs. The host is an exceptionally compassionate, interesting, and fun man.

I felt at home from the moments I stepped in the Garden House! Immaculate clean apartment, very large space. The hostess is the warmest person I have met in the whole SE Asia. She has hired very service minded staff and they are always ready to help. I got so much better service than if I had checked in a regular hotel. We really appreciate we were assigned a ground floor apartment so my husband didn’t have to climb many stairs with his bad knees. We also have been served the best breakfast we have had in whole Laos. Delicious and always freshly made. Homemade jams and homemade soy milk! We couldn’t ask for more. Definitely a place to recommend to everyone I know. P.S. you are welcome to pick fruits and veggies from the garden - it is a lovely thing we were allowed to do.

Perfection in every aspect! Great food! The host and his wife (a local Laotian) fulfilling all our culinary cravings ... Everything new, still smelling brand new. The perfect place for those seeking undisturbed relaxation. Perfect to indulge in blissful laziness. A wonderful view of the jungle-covered mountain range, straight from the terrace of the lodges, as well as the restaurant. 600 meters to the entrance to the Nature Park - breathtaking beauty. The breakfast was very good and had a good selection of everything in an a l carte menu. There was oat milk and other non standard choices. The location was 10 minutes from the city center but there is a complimentary driver bringing you to and picking you up from the city. That is an excellent service and it was always quickly available. The staff is super friendly and doing everything to make your stay comfortable and adjusting to certain needs. We have had some problems with our travel schedule and needed to change and the hotel staff and management went out of their way and fixed all problems. The rooms are very nice and the one we booked has been spacious. The tent rooms have a great view and air condition as well as heating works well. The view from the bathtub is great. The property is well kept and the pool is nice. The environment is beautiful as a river flows through the property on several spots. There is quite a tropical atmosphere due to many plants and it feels overall relaxing.

The staff made our stay out of this world especially Oscar and Pansa. From the moment we made our booking they bent over backwards to ensure our every need was met. As they all waved us off when we left we had tears in our eyes. The location was great. Although 7 minutes out of town the hotel provides free shuttle runs 3 times a day. It is on the way to the Si Kuang falls and other tourist spots so very convenient for sightseeing. And of course being out of town it is oh so tranquil. The pool is large if a little cool so a great place to relax. Although it does not have the facilities of other 5 star hotels the price is considerably lower so it is great value for money.
