We loved this place! It was the perfect oasis in Luang Prabang. But the Garden House is not only a place to stay to explore the city & its surroundings, it’s a destination in itself. It’s a wonderful experience to take part of this inspired project. The breakfast room windows capture the misty morning mountains like a painting. The generous outdoor kitchen allowed us to experiment with Lao cooking. Incredibly, we could add the organic produce from the garden to our plates. The lovely host even offered a papaya directly from the tree to my mother - this is the kind of moments you cherish forever… The list of things to adore here is endless - thank you so much for creating this place & giving us such a warm welcome! Extra thanks for helping us (super efficiently on WhatsApp) with everything from charcoal to the barbecue to sticky rice steamer to transport.

The staff made our stay out of this world especially Oscar and Pansa. From the moment we made our booking they bent over backwards to ensure our every need was met. As they all waved us off when we left we had tears in our eyes. The location was great. Although 7 minutes out of town the hotel provides free shuttle runs 3 times a day. It is on the way to the Si Kuang falls and other tourist spots so very convenient for sightseeing. And of course being out of town it is oh so tranquil. The pool is large if a little cool so a great place to relax. Although it does not have the facilities of other 5 star hotels the price is considerably lower so it is great value for money.

Santi Resort and Spa is the perfect getaway. From the moment you arrive you feel like you are miles away from the city centre (when in fact it is a 10 minute shuttle bus ride away). The resort is set in the most picturesque location, with stunning landscaping, beautiful views and lovely walks through the property. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable, clean and beautifully appointed. The resort offers a wonderful spa and pool to relax in and the restaurant has great food. Most of all the service was excellent and nothing is too much trouble. If you are looking for a relaxing escape, this is the place to visit.

Hotel is wonderful! Many compliments to the landascapers and designers because i've never seen anything like that. The pool areas and amazing and to overlook the rice fields is a real wonderful experience. The room was awesome, so big, a huge bathroom, all the amenities.
