The room at the ground floor was comfortable and quiet. But, as upgrade the owner offered the second floor bigger room for the same price. Washroom and bedroom were clean. The Hotel is in the main street inland and just 25 meters walking from main road and to the beach it's not even 3 minutes walking. The owner running the place was always very kind and let me choose the room I liked the most. The wifi was fast. Everything he arranged close to me

I booked the AC villa and it was perfect for me! I extended my stay to 3 weeks because I enjoyed it here so much. The location ist perfect - super close to everything. Good Wifi (good enough for me to have video calls for work!!), good food (try the Spaghetti with homemade tomato sauce!!), very good value, and super nice hosts that take care of everything. Thank you so much - I'm sure I will be back!!!

From the beginning on, everything was perfect. The receptionist manager took care about us and was always around to deal with customers in case they need something. Very generous, kind person. Thank you for such a nice stay and we will definitely come back one day. 3 water bottles in room and very clean. We just wish you all good luck and continue like this!

We received a very warm welcome, with lots of smiles and a pineapple juice 😀 this guesthouse is run by Iqbal and his lovely staff and he took care of us from the first to the last minute. The location is amazing, quiet and right at the beach, and walking distance to the rather noisy and ore crowed center of the village, which was just perfect for us. We asked for a room with air-conditioning and the aircon worked perfectly and cooled down the room very quickly. The bed is big and comfortable, the room equipped with everything necessary to feel comfortable and have some space to unpack the bags. The non aircon rooms have each a cute front terrace equipped with a table and a sitting area. The breakfast varies daily, at least during our stay, and is cooked and prepared with much love by the most lovely assistant lady who gives an extra warm touch to this place. We fell in love especially with the guesthouse staff and owner, their friends and family as the are all warm-hearted and welcoming people, that help and care and share at all times. If you want an authentic and welcoming place, this could be your home in Arugam Beach. We also, during season, recommend asking if the have wood apple juice, which is one if the best juices we ever had. We left wishing to stay there once again in the future and submerge again into this very lovely space the created just right at the beach. We had great conversations and left warm hearted, missing them already! Go for it, you won't be disappointed!!!! If there were more IQBALs in this world, the world would be a better place. Thanks for all 🥰

The hotel is SUPER! The best hotel during my entire trip to Sri Lanka (I was in more than 15 hotels in 24 days). Very cozy atmosphere. There are only 6 bungalows in hotels, it's not overcrowded. Delicious food, better than in the most cafes on the island. Very comfortable and friendly hosts! The pool is great! Everything is thought out - deck chairs, a place for sunbathing right in the water. The pool is surrounded of palm trees! It's about 50-100 meters to the sea. The only negative thing for lovers of flat water is big waves on the coast. Therefore, I spent 3 days next to the pool and absolutely happy about this! ))) But also it has a very beautiful sunrise! You should check in my photos

We had a great time in Spice Trail! Excellent location and very helpful staff. Himasha LEO showed us some nice places in the area and told us a lot about Arugam Bay & Sri Lanka. If you are going to Arugam Bay, you can't skip this place! The swimming pool is perfect.

Had a wonderful stay at Bay Vista. The two men working the front desk were so kind and helpful, they went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. They helped arrange surf lessons and transportation. Room was clean and comfortable, and there is a lot of room in the restaurant/gardens area to relax. It was nice to have beach chairs right in front of the property. The yoga class on the rooftop each evening was lovely. The hotel is in a great location, about a 10 minute walk along the beach to the main point for surfing every day and it is central to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely return!

Absolutely stunning beach front hotel, pool was great with the kids, the chef was incredible - every dish was super tasty. We loved the outdoor chilling area and bean bags. Rooms were very spacious and stunning views of the ocean. And it was so close to the hustle of Arugam Bay!
