Nice staff. Super charming building, really authentic, once owned by Queen Elizabeth's accountant. There's a picture of the Queen visiting the place. The hotel has a nice pool and beautiful aesthetics.

Hemantha, the owner and manager of hotel and his son Dulana have built a truly beautiful pearl in the middle of the rainforest. With excellent English, they took care of us and fulfilled all our wishes. This is our fifth time in Sri Lanka, but we visited Kitulgala for the first time during our travels and I can recommend this area to everyone to visit. Waterfalls in the middle of the forest and rafting on the river are among the great experiences that this hotel offers you at a very fair price. And then you can let yourself be pampered in the comfort of the hotel with great food and enjoy a bath in the beautiful natural pool or right in the small clean river that flows around the hotel. The property is a homestay and Mona is an excellent host. We were treated like family and even though we had some difficulty reaching the location she followed our journey and sent someone out to guide us. When we arrived it was late but she still went out of her way to serve us a tasty local dinner and breakfast. The location is very remote and the natural pool with small waterfall on the property is something we enjoyed immensely. Thank you again for your hospitality and highly recommended!

We were fortunate to have booked this hotel for 8 nights. We needed some rest and this was the perfect place to do it. We instantly felt part of the Aramya family. Amazing staff and manager, super friendly and always willing to help. The chef made delicious food and we were looking forward to a new meal every day. Last but not least: the hotel is located on a stunning location. In the middle of the jungle with fantastic birds. We also loved the neighbourhood and that is not yet discovered by tourists. We could have easily spend more nights 😍
