Went for a quick transit stay to spend the night. They even arranged the pick-up from the railway station which was very convenient given the time we arrived. From the welcome drink that was served even at late at night to the dinner served before checking out was all exceptional. The staff was very professional respectful. They humbly attended our requests The food and the serving was top-notch The location is easy to reach and the hotel premise has a lovely landscape with a pool Will visit again. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to travel to Minneriya / Hingurakgoda.

Great staff. Could not have done more to make our stay satisfactory and they are working very hard to develop a good reputation. Great pool. Out of town but cycles were arranged for us so access was easy.

Sanka is an excellent host, very friendly and helpful! And his wife is a great cook! Lovely breakfasts and dinners. The cabin is marvelously located overlooking the lake and the terrace is an absolute highlight, so nice to hang out. The cabin itself is small and basic, but with everything you need! Even coffee and tea facilities :-) We had a great time and enjoyed every minute.

We had an amazing time here. The rooms are very spacious and clean. There's hot water to shower and food is amazing. One night we even had the chance to help and prepare our own meal the traditional way. Pick up and drop off at bus station are free. Very good service. At night you have an option to go for a walk to see some wildlife. Defo would recommend this place! The host speaks very clear english and really cares about his guests.

Everything was just perfect! Staff: The staff members were truly wonderful: kind, helpful, and thoughtful at every step. They made me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay. Cleanliness: Top hygiene! The entire room was spotless: from the walls and floors to the cupboards, bed, bathroom, and toilet. Everything looked and smelled freshly cleaned and well-maintained. Comfort: There was running hot water at all times, and the air conditioning kept the room comfortably cool, even during the hotter parts of the day. Safety & Atmosphere: As a solo traveler, I felt safe and at home here. The warm environment and respectful staff really made a difference. Overall: An excellent experience. Clean, comfortable, and supported by genuinely kind staff. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others! Their restaurant serves amazing dishes! And staff really pays attention to your likes and dislikes.

Staff was more than friendly and helpful. They helped us book a safari to a nearby Eco park for a very nice price and also gave us good advice on what to do in the Polonnaruwa ancient city. The pool was exceptionally clean and warm.

Perfect peaceful getaway! Sunrise Lake in Polonnaruwa is such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The view of the lake, especially during sunrise, is breathtaking so calm and peaceful. 🌅 The cabanas are clean and cozy, and the garden around is well kept. The owners are super friendly and treat you like family. Their homemade breakfast was delicious simple, fresh, and full of flavor. It’s a great spot to unwind, watch the birds, and enjoy nature. We are a family from the UK who visited Sri Lanka for a holiday. While searching for a good apartment or villa near the temples and relics in the Polonnaruwa area, we came across this little gem. Pearl White was one of only two properties available for our chosen dates. At first, we were a bit hesitant to book, as it was a recently listed property with just two reviews, both from local visitors. However, I decided to reach out to the property, and I was able to connect directly with the owner, Sisira. He was kind enough to explain the facilities in detail and share valuable insights about the place. Our conversation gave us a very good understanding and helped build our confidence in choosing Pearl White over the other options. It turned out to be a fantastic decision! We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay and we booked the entire villa. The location is excellent, very close to the town centre and major heritage sites. The villa itself is spacious, cozy, and exceptionally clean from the beds and linen to the toilets. Everything was well-maintained. We found every little convenience available, from matchboxes and a lit barbecue to massage bathtubs. I highly recommend this property without any hesitation, and we would definitely love to return. Special thanks to Sisira for taking such good care of us and always being reachable via WhatsApp whenever we needed anything.

I would recommend this place to everyone! The host was so incredibly hospitable and sweet. She helped us with the elephant trip, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast and was just all around incredibly accommodating. She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.
