My stay at the Glima Eco Lodge was an amazing choice and I wished I could spent more time here. Roshani and her husband are such an inspiring and lovely couple. They treat you like you re a part of their family and serve you one of the best food I ever had in my LIFE! The Eco Lodge is so beautiful, it’s very clean and so cozy. The lake is infront of you and you can hear beautiful sounds of birds. The fireplace and the environment is so relaxing and you have the space only for you! Everything, every little detail, was just fascinating. The rooms are set in an amazingly beautiful garden, and are very well equipped & super comfortable. Treat yourself to local dinner - so far our best meal in Sri Lanka (and we had many very good dinners before!), don't miss it. As for the hosts - everyone was super friendly and welcoming, we were served delicious tea upon arrival and Leel spoke very good English. As for the safari - we can't imagine a better guide taking care of us. Leel knew the park very well (showed us beautiful places off the beaten path), you could see he cared very much for the wellbeing of present animals and was very knowledgeable about them. Overall, he's a guy that would save you even from a charging elephant.

Anju is really nice and very helpful. Dinner and breakfast were really good and made with fresh ingredients from the garden! He even went above and beyond to give us a extensive breakfast at 5am. The room was also very nice. Tours can also be done with him! I really recommend to stay here!
