I loved everything about Halketha. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality from Chitra, Mary and Nelumi. We were taken to our villa across a beautiful landscaped garden that also stays true to its love for the natural environment. The villa itself was perfection - perfectly decorated, clean, homely but also provided you with a sense that you were in luxury. The outdoor bathroom was a cherry on top, with a beautiful araliya tree in the middle. During our stay, we were not only treated close to family, but the quality of service was nothing like I had seen in Sri Lanka for a long time. The food was authentically Sri Lankan, with a rich yet classic taste. The property is close to mini waterfalls and great walks. This is a stay I will keep coming back to. A reminder that authentic and wholesome experiences still exist in Sri Lanka.

The Staff of Ellankanda Villa made our stay so very pleasent. The food was excellent(!) and we always felt very cared about. Rooms are very clean and you can tell that there is a sense of detail, which give the place its charme. It is a quite place, but you can nicely explore the area by yourself (or in our case we were even gives a small tour by the Staff - thank you again!). Absolut recommendation if you want to spend some quite days in a great place.

Wow! What incredible service at Tree of Life. I was blown away by how dedicated and kind the staff were. We could communicate through WhatsApp before we arrived and they solved any problems we had. We had a sick child for this part of our stay and I was so relieved to be here as I felt we were so well looked after. Also loved the whole site, swimming at night with bats above and the luxurious outside shower.

Located close to the beach, the homestay is very welcoming and has a beautiful garden where one can sit and relax. The rooms were clear, equipped with kettle and fridge and very comfortable. Would highly recommend the place. The host is very helpful and prepared a very good breakfast for.us.

Cool and beautiful rooms with fresh renovations, very nice to be inside There is a mini veranda outside each room where you can sit outside. Nearby five minutes walk to an empty and wide beach with surfing. Great hearty breakfasts with fruit! The hosts can cook any dish for you if you want to have lunch or dinner at the hotel Sanduni's brother showed us cool places in Bentota, took us to a temple, treated us to ice cream, and at our request found out at what price exotic fruits are sold to locals, not tourists Market with goods too close to hotel Free laundry We are very happy that we stayed in this hotel. Very nice and kind people keep this hotel running Several times our hosts gave us a ride to the city center by tuk-tuk The hosts talked a lot about Sri Lankan culture, answered all our silly questions about everything about the island We love this place and these people!

We had an amazing stay at the Long House. The grounds, pool and hotel are beautiful. The rooms are large, clean and ours had a beautiful outside shower. We decided to go half board, and would thoroughly recommend. The choices were lovely, with a good mix of traditional and Western dishes. The staff are amazing, especially the restaurant staff. We couldn't recommend the Long House anymore!
