I had a fantastic stay at this villa in Dellawa. The location is serene and surrounded by nature, offering a truly relaxing escape. The host Buddhika is a very gracious host, we were able to see his tea fields and were welcomed in his house, he even made us homemade drinks and talked about the different kinds of plants in his garden. The pick up service was excellent and he helped us to get on the right bus. The two cottages are very beautiful, equipped with everything you need (best ac so far in Sri Lanka) and have a very peaceful view of the lake, in a short walking distance is a spot to swim. It’s near the street, which you can sometimes hear. Buddhika prepared very delicious dinners for us and provided everything we needed and more whilst being respectful of our privacy. We took a trip to sinharaja national park (1h by car and then 3-4hours in the park with a guide) for a very reasonable price and again Buddhikas service was exceptional! On the way to matara we wanted to buy some tea and he took us to his family’s factory and we got a free tour and an interesting tasting. All in all we had a great stay and a very peaceful and calming experience!

The villa is well laid out with all required facilities. It's clean and tidy. The owner was there to receive us and to handover the property. He is very plesent, friendly and corporative. We had full prevacy, comfort and all the freedom. The most liked pat was that the owner allowed our pet dog Labrador to stay with us. Our Labrador was the most enjoyed and thrilled out of all of us, as the dog enjoyed the garden freely by playing and jumping in to the pond in front of the property. The facilities are luxurious and entire property is equipped to satisfy our full expectations.

This was one of our highlights on our trip in Sri Lanka! The hideaway is beautiful and totally new! The big room is comfortable and very clean, located right next to a nice river. one can hear the sound of the river and birds/ animals in the night (great jungle feeling!) the host was soooo incredibly nice and welcoming and helped us out with our problems. Breakfast is delicious and in the morning you have a great view into the nature. This really was one of our best stays during our roundtrip and I would definitely stay here again! They also offer tours with a great tour guide into the Jungle (highly recommend!!)

Our experience at the Rainforest Nest was absolutely wonderful, thanks to incredible hosts Saman and Umesha. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and their kindness and care shone throughout our stay. Saman took us on an unforgettable day exploring the rainforest - his deep knowledge of the area’s flora and fauna made the experience truly special, and we learned so much. The setting of the Rainforest Nest is breathtaking – peaceful, serene, and surrounded by nature. If you have the time, enjoy relaxing on the balcony and taking in the surroundings and watching the birdlife. Umesha’s delicious home-cooked meal was another highlight. And they even helped us arrange a taxi to Ella. A special mention to their young son, Arjun, the best tuk-tuk driver in the area! Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in a stunning location with exceptional hosts. We only regret not booking a longer stay. Thank you!

The location is phenomenal. The accommodation has incredible views of the rain forest, and you get to experience nature and wildlife on your doorstep. The cottage is spacious and beautifully designed. The pool is large uses the pristine river water. The yoga Shala beside the banyan tree is stunning. Karina, Cedric and all the team are truly lovely humans who bring a lot of love and care to the place. This is such a wonderful escape from the world. A place to simplify and reset and remember the true sense of connection.
