The Manager Damith and team will do everything they can possibly do to make your stay comfortable as they did to me. An Absolute Slice of Heaven! Our Unforgettable Stay at Ahas Gawwa We started our Sri Lanka journey at Ahas Gawwa and we were blown away by the experience. From the moment we arrived, every single aspect of our stay has been special. This isn't just a hotel; it's a sanctuary. The Welcome & Service: The hospitality here is great. We were greeted with the warmest, most genuine smiles, which immediately made us feel at ease. The staff are the true heart of this place. They are incredibly attentive, professional, and seem to anticipate your needs before you even ask. Every request is met with a "can-do" attitude and a warmth that feels truly special. The Room & Views: Our room is a beautifully designed haven of comfort and style. It's proper and clean, with thoughtful amenities and one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. And the view... wow! Waking up and looking out over the breathtaking landscape is a magical experience that a photo could never fully capture. The hotel's name, "Ahas Gawwa" (The Horizon), is perfectly fitting. You truly feel like you're floating above the world. Ambiance & Atmosphere: The entire property exudes a sense of peace and tranquility. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The architecture blends beautifully with the stunning natural surroundings, creating an atmosphere that is both luxurious and deeply relaxing. The Food: Every meal has been a culinary delight! The chefs are clearly passionate about what they do, using fresh, high-quality ingredients to create dishes that are both delicious and beautifully presented. We've enjoyed a fantastic array of both local Sri Lankan flavours and international cuisine. Overall: We cannot recommend Ahas Gawwa highly enough. Our 3-night stay has been a dream, and our only regret is that we will eventually have to leave.

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful location surrounded by lush greenery, delicious meals, peaceful ambiance, and the delightful sounds & view of lovely birds.

This is a beautiful place located in a serene and quite tea estate. You look out onto greenery and it instantly brings you close to nature. There's a beautiful forest of rubber trees close by, and you can take a bike ride or walk though it. The host is wonderful, kind, and hospitable. And they cooked great food. Come here if you want to get away from Colombo for a bit, or need some time in nature.

The place was unexpectedly good. The host Akhill brother was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The place was calm and the location was just right. It was clean, the washroom was good, there is an ensuite kitchen with everything u need for a long stay. And all in a budget friendly manner. Loved to stay there and hopefully will come again.

I absolutely loved staying here. The villa is very well designed, super clean, calm and cosy. It is situated a bit remote, but that's the thing. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this place for people who want to rest in tranquility away from hustle and bustle of a big city. The owner is very helpful and always available, should you require anything. I also liked the food they served in the villa. You can also order delivery or go to different cafes not far from the place. Totally recommend this accommodation. I would come back to stay again.

Great to have an apartment with all the comforts of home ... extras a gym and lap pool created a relax 3 days before jumping on a flight ... Hosts were excellent... we would stay again

The property was well maintained by Anton who did all the turnover service during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to order meals through him throughout our stay. We were able to try out all the traditional Sri Lankan food and everything was presented beautifully and tasted delicious! The rooms were large and clean, so was the rest of the villa. The pool was well looked after so a great source of fun for the kids! The area was very convenient for our visit and the owners were also nice enough to help us with a later checkout due to our night flights. Great service, great villa, fab holiday spot that served us well during our stay in Sri Lanka.
