What a great place. We needed one night in Badulla to catch a train the nexr day.. Perfect location. Brilliant staff - so helpful. The room was big and beautiful. The whole house was beautiful. Very new so spotlessly clean. Dinner was delicious. Perfect eggs for breakfast.

I always use this hotel when I travel to Badulla. The reason is that the hotel is in the city center, so it is very convenient for exploring the city of Badulla, and the price is very good. Also, the facilities are clean, and all the staff are very friendly. The food at the restaurant is also very delicious. If you are looking for a local experience in Ella this is the perfect place to stay. What impressed us the most is the hospitality of the family. We stayed for 1 night and it was pouring rain, so as we couldn't go to a restaurant the family prepared us dinner and made us feel like at home. The breakfast the next day was fantastic too. A beautiful place surrounded by greenery and the wonderful sounds of nature. It’s just a 10-minute ride by tuk-tuk or scooter to the center of Ella. The room is spacious and clean, with hot water in the shower. The family running this place is absolutely lovely and very helpful. You are always in touch with the daughter, who patiently answers every question and helps organize anything you might need. The breakfast is local, large, filling, and very tasty. The property is currently being expanded, and more rooms will be available in the future, but for now, there is just one. However, it definitely has great potential, and it’s a must-visit to experience the local atmosphere and meet incredibly kind, friendly, and smiling people. I highly recommend it!

The location was lovely, across from the waterfall, and close to the start of Ella Rock trail. If you want a little secluded cabin in the wilderness, this is the place. We had incredible breakfast every morning, and they were so helpful and provided transport to town whenever we wanted. The service was outstanding and always with a smile! Highly recommend this place.

La Casa Bella is fantastic, the location is great within walking distance from city centre. Very quiet and peaceful. The host was exceptional and the breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka.
