Modern, well furnished and comfortable lodges with friendly owners. And the best part: the huskies! There were puppies when we were visiting and we could cuddle with them. We also highly reccommend the carriage ride with the huskies. It was nice to even be involved with harnassing and preparing the carriages.

What a fantastic cabin in an absolutely stunning location! It was a cosy place with everything we needed. Despite it being -10, it was warm and just perfect for our holiday. We will be back! This is a beautifully furnished, cosy wee house within easy walking distance of Otta with its aquamarine coloured river and with stunning views of the mountains. Welcome treats included complimentary tea/coffee and quality eco toiletries. I only stayed one night - such a comfy bed - and I couldn't take full advantage of the gorgeous veranda because of rain, but the huge windows gave onto lovely lush countryside and the comfy sofa, rugs and candles made it hygge and luxurious.

Heartbreak Hotel is a recently renovated guest house in Nedre Heidal, where guests can make the most of its bar and barbecue facilities.
