The room was right on the fjord. It was basic with no running water but cute, quiet, and clean. There are shared showers and toilets, much like a North American campground. There was a small kitchen in the cabin, and there is a communal one with more facilities- including a microwave, which seems rare in Norway campgrounds. There was an amazing sauna with glass walls and a view of the fjord. It looks like a mirrored box, but you can see our from the inaide. You need to book it, but it was a lot of fun getting hot and then jumping into the freezing cold fjord water. The pizza sold at the front desk/cafe was also very tasty. There is no real wifi to speak of, so it you want to be connected bring you own data.

We visited this place in the off – period so the surrounding was quiet. The house is well reacheable. A car can be parked right in front of the house. The interior is light and clean. There are huge windows which makes the whole place nicely airy. The living room is spacious, there is a dinning table with chairs as well. Kitchen is equipped with the basic dishes one needs for common cooking. We got two bedrooms. The bed linen was freshly washed and packed in seperate bags. We also received towels in three sizes. The flat has a huge terrace with a wonderful view on the fjord. Too bad we did not spend here more days to enjoy it enough.

Overlooking the Luster Fjord and Feigum Waterfall, this waterfront inn is 30 minutes’ drive from Sogndal. It provides free WiFi and a surrounding garden with outdoor seating and a playground.

We had the best time at Villa Solvorn! Such a good location that gave you easy walking access to the water. Oskar and his team were so welcoming and helpful! They prepared a great breakfast spread.

The hotel is situated in a tiny picturesque village from the late 19th century by the Luster fjord, overlooking a fantastic view. It has Norway’s best breakfast with everything you may wish, and fantastic service. For extra luxury, enjoy a wonderful 4-course dinner prepared by some of our best chefs, followed by a drink and coffee in the garden. We stayed in one of the modern rooms, which has plenty of space and a nice porch on the lawn to enjoy the morning sun. This is a must see for everyone who just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape. It’s not cheap, but it’s with it.

What a great, unique and pleasant location to stay. The Swiss villa is so cosy. The dinner is so delicious. Breakfast is simply amazing !! Very friendly staff. Always with a smile to respond to your questions.
