We so loved the peaceful surroundings and the quiet. It has a lovely relaxed and homely feel. We stayed for two nights but could easily have found plenty to explore with a few more days.

The location is beautiful, on a bluff just outside Hokitika. All rooms have a patio facing west and we were able to watch a lovely sunset. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

Sonya greeted me on arrival, was very welcoming and suggested some great attractions and restaurants to eat in. The room was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. Couldn’t recommend this Motel enough

We liked our stay through and through. Sharon and Butch are very warm and accommodating. They have a very tastefully decorated and kept home. Everything from the bed linen to the bathroom was super clean. Loved the "anytime access" to a wide range of tea options, coffee and yummy cookies in the common area. We throughly enjoyed the delicious home-cooked breakfast spread and the conversations over it. Truly a great B&B. We'd recommend it to everyone travelling to Hokitika.
