This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. The hostess was such an incredibly sweet woman! We had troubles finding the property, so she picked us up to guide us to the place. The contact we had with her was great, everything was possible; all one needed to do, was text and ask her and everything could be arranged. A big thanks to her for everything!! We could check-in earlier and also check-out later, which was so much appreciated since we hiked Volcán Barú the night before. The house, garden and pool themselves were just unreal, so amazing. The flora, all of the plants surrounding the house was just simply a reallife paradise. The garden was very big and there is enough space to look shelter for when the sun is too hot under trees. All of the amenities included were great. Everything one could imagine was available to use, from an ice cube machine to spices for cooking. The place was enormously spacious and you had a lot of peace and privacy on the property. The place was so clean and the beds were so comfortable to sleep in! Everything smelled amazing, the towels were big, clean and soft and the bed sheets were so comfy. The hostess even already made the beds! She even insisted on cleaning the pool during our stay, because a couple of leaves were inside. Would highly recommend staying here!!!

Absolutely beautiful place. We loved our stay and Jose was very helpful and accessible. We arrived quite late our first day and he was able to help order food for us. It feels like a tropical paradise staying at Cabanas. Wish we could've stayed longer.

Amazing setting, a few miles outside David on the road to Boquete. The hostel has its own waterfall you can swim in, is on the edge of some of the last remaining ancient rainforest in the area so the gardens are full of birds, butterflies and flowers. Saw a sloth in one of the mango trees. Relaxed atmoshere, 2 pools, guest kitchen, wifi, bar, restaurant, hammocks etc. Peter the owner is very welcoming and know's a lot about the area and things to do, loves hanging out with the guests. Great place to unwind and enjoy the natural environment, Panama at its best. Cheers Peter.

If you find yourself needing to stay a night or two in David, you can't go wrong with this hotel. It's modern and very well run. Rooms are spacious and quiet and beds are comfortable. Very well equipped bathrooms with nice products. Front desk staff are English speaking, pleasant and helpful. The hotel restaurant is excellent and the breakfast buffet is outstanding!

Perfect stay that exceeded all of our expectations. The most lovely, kind, helpful owners - best hosts we've ever had the pleasure to meet! They will help you with whatever you might need and will gladly share all their insights and great advice on what to do in the region. The hotel and room is clean beyond PERFECTION, super comfortable, calm, quiet and very safe. Also they served the most exceptional home made breakfast. Best place in the region without a doubt and highly recommended!!

I stayed for just one night, but everything was great. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was decent and had a good variety. Overall, a pleasant stay—no complaints!

The value for the dinners was excellent. I ordered something different every night and each meal was excellent. There was a problem with the elevator going to the main lobby and the staff made sure that I was able to reach the main lobby with no issues. The staff only found solutions to problems.

Eibar, the owner and manager was very friendly and welcoming upon my arrival. Given my late arrival time and long drive from Panama city, he was also very accommodating by allowing me to fill in the registration information form and payment the next day. He quickly helped me with my luggage and took me to my cabin upon arrival and gave me a brief explanation regarding the numerous amenities found in the cabin and how the microwave, gas stove ( with oven :) and air-conditioning worked. He then provided me with a key fob that had the keys to the front and back doors as well as a button on it to open and close the entrance gate. Prior to my arrival, he had already noticed that I was staying for an additional 2 months and allocated me a beautiful, and very spacious cabin overlooking the nearby Baru Volcano. The Cabin was fully equipped with a large fridge and freezer compartment, micro wave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, washing machine, and TV with ROKU streaming for Netflix, Apple TV and Spotify. Having a large overhead fan in the Kitchen/Living room, plus an overhead fan and air-conditioning in the very large bedroom with 2 double beds, wardrobe and bed side table. The outdoor patio, with look-out bench and scenic views of the Volcano and lush green forests surrounding it, BBQ and clothesline are an added bonus. There is a good size parking space right beside your cabin and if you don't have a car, there is a bus stop on the Highway to Boquete less than 300 m away where you can catch a local bus to Boquete that runs approximately every 45 minutes and costs about 75 cents. Apart from the excellent value for your money, the hospitality and generosity of your Hosts- Eibar and Lousa is exceptional. If you need anything just ask, including where and what to Do, See and personal recommendations on specific grocery stores, restaurants and cafes to visit.
