Wonderful staff here, very kind and welcoming- reception, room, and restaurant were always ready to help. The room was beautiful with everything one would need, nice little terrace with a sea view. The hot and cold buffet was incredible, with egg dishes prepared upon order (o omelets, scrambles, etc). The covered parking lot was large. Location is away from the dense area of Lagos in an upscale beach neighborhood. But still walking distance to town, or an easy drive. Excellent value, so happy we selected this hotel for our stay!

The location was good. walking distance to the center, to the boat tours and to the train station. Buffet breakfast was good. Comfy beds, rooms are clean, they always refill the toiletries and change our towels. Staff were friendly and always smiling. Nice interior. Reasonable price.We had a good stay and probably will come back.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of February, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! It's a beautiful little hotel. Excellent location - 10 minute walk to the old town, and a 5 ish minute walk to the beach/boardwalk. The staff were super friendly and very helpful, and the whole place lives up to its name - it's super charming! The beds were comfortable, the room was super clean and we had a little balcony overlooking the pool area which we really liked. The best part about it all? The breakfast. The BREAKFAST. 10/10. I wish I could have eaten it all day!! Would highly recommend this hotel, and we will be back there in a heartbeat should we return to Lagos!

We had a great experience at Alto Mar Inn. Fatima was such a lovely host, very friendly and gave us great recommendations. The bedroom and bathroom (ours was private) were very clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet although the breakfast room and reception was just outside our room (so quiet, that I actually managed to pass an exam online with no problem). Special mention for one of the best breakfast we have ever had during a hotel stay. Thanks for the great experience ! Would 100% recommend (and come back).
