The situation is magical, could not have been better! The cosy wooden, very quiet and bright cottage provides you with the best views over Kivu lake. Outdoor shower is great. Owner Philippe is a truly kind and warm person. Whole staff is smiling and does its best to satisfy you in a simple but very professionnal way like the manager Éric. Food options are simply delicicious and healthy. Activities offered are various (island hopping, community sharing...) and very reasonably priced. Best accommodation during our entire trip to Rwanda - an amazingly large room with an unbeatable view of Lake Kivu right from the bed. Absolute cleanliness everywhere. Staff great, arranged all possible excursions for us around the area, including fishing with local fishermen. The food was absolutely top notch. Possibility to use the kayaks for free.

The location is stunning and overlooks the lake on both sides - with a short walkway down to the lakeshore. It is a supremely relaxing spot with goats and sheep roaming in the garden. Deborah and the team are superb hosts and we felt very much at home here.
