the property was in a very quite and nice area, the building was recently renewed and the room was clean, cozy and comfortable. the shower was big. it was very easy to reach and there was parking place! The owner is an incredibly nice guy, who tries his best to make you comfortable and to be fun, keeping up the conversation with good jokes (also he speaks english quite well). with an extremly small extra you can get breakfast whenever he’s available in the morning! A quite awesome breakfast, extremely satisfying and tasty (i think that the extra he asked is less than the cost of the raw materials themselves!). Seriously, if visiting the area (like Trieste, its easily reachable by car!), this is the place where to sleep!

We had a short trip around Europe, going through Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and then back to Bulgaria. The kids were impressed by a handful of things during the trip and one of those on top of their list was our short stay at Sežana! I've read all the reviews on Booking.com and I thought it was just a bit too good to be true - a rating this high is rare to see these days. After staying for a night, not only do I understand why this property is rated so high, but I also think it's not rated high enough. It deserves a perfect 10 and no less! I won't repeat everything else that guests have said, I will just confirm it's all true.

The location was good as we were heading to Croatia afterwards. Ready access to Trieste as well as Ljubljana. Quite close to the caves. A bit further for Lake Bled and Bohinjsko. The Soca valley is relatively close too. Surrounded by a vineyard the location was peaceful and quiet. The hosts were super. They had very little English and we had no Slovene but it did not matter. Very warm welcome and we all enjoyed the chat.

Wonderful hidden gem. Great design, private spot, close to many things but very peaceful and quiet. Although it is not big (it is a tiny house after all), it does have everything you need. Hosts are very helpful with tips and very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend to stay here!

    Incredible apartment - stylish design, everything is new, cleanliness is perfect! Comfortable beds and soft pillows, kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Beautiful crockery. Washing machine and pods to it. Underfloor heating and large electric towel rail. There is a sauna and heated swimming pool on the territory. Own parking lot. The most hospitable hosts we have ever met! Aleš and Natasha made our stay unforgettable - they enveloped us with care and attention! We felt like part of their family. We look forward to seeing you again!

    The Apolonija Guest House is truly a great accommodation! We stayed for two nights because it’s quite close to Trieste, which we visited. It’s a family owned house and the host was very friendly and gratuitous. She welcomed us with a smile on her face and prepared a delicious breakfast for us. The house itself is very esthetically pleasing with a lot of attention to details. The room itself was clean and beautiful and the bed was comfortable. There is free parking right at the property. Overall it gave a very Tuscan vibe:)

    We’ve previously stayed in another accommodation with 2 rooms, but our “smaller” single room in hotel Prunk felt more spacious and had enough room for our bags and clothes. The location may not look anything special, but you’ll be able to get to Trieste or the Miramare castle as well as other interesting destinations in Slovenia easily. We’ve also found it very convenient to have the parking lot right in the front of the building.

    Breakfast was great. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The view is astonishing. Our car broke down in the parking lot and the nice receptionist helped us out and was able to fix the ptoblem and start the engine. Thanks a lot!!

    There are plenty of free parking lots. The staff was very friendly and assisted us when we needed to change the room due to broken ventilator. We had delicious fish for r´the dinner and excellent brekfast with huge choice of hot and cold meals.

    The staff were professional, friendly and polite. The room was beautiful, modern and spacious like a luxury suite. The breakfast was excellent set in a beautiful dinning room. There was secure free parking in an underground garage beneath the hotel.

    We only stayed for one night, but I can recommend it for longer too. We choose this accommodation because of the price and it's located not far from Triest. It's near the highway and the border, next to a grocery store with free parking. They are flexible with the check in, using the lock box is very convenient.
